Administration Office

The Administrative Office of the Superintendent assists in setting the strategic direction of the Ohio State Highway Patrol by coordinating operational functions, administrative functions, special projects and events. Professional staff members work with the Colonel and two Lieutenant Colonels in General Headquarters, where they can easily collaborate with all sections, units and field locations.

Legislative Affairs

The mission of Ohio State Highway Patrol Legislative Affairs is to explain and advocate the Patrol's positions relative to upcoming or pending legislative issues with policymakers. Additionally, legislative affairs is also responsible for reviewing, summarizing and reporting to field personnel any changes in the Revised Code.

Public Information Office

The Public Information Office is responsible for supervising, coordinating and facilitating public relations and information for the Patrol, including the website and social media platforms. The office coordinates media interviews and serves as the media liaison for the Patrol. In addition, the office develops and implements ongoing public affairs programs with local posts and the community to communicate the goals of the Patrol.
