Patrol seizes four kilos of cocaine, valued at $400,000 following a traffic stop in Preble County

 

EATON – A woman from Arizona is facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized four kilos of cocaine - valued at $400,000 - following a traffic stop yesterday in Preble County.

Troopers stopped a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am for a following too closely violation on Interstate 70, near milepost 14, at approximately 11:19 a.m. Criminal indicators were observed and a Patrol drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed the four kilos of cocaine.

The driver, Kimberly Dana Marie Munsey, 36, of Tucson, Ariz., was charged with aggravated trafficking, a first-degree felony.

Munsey was incarcerated in the Preble County Jail. If convicted, she could face up to 10 years in prison and up to a $20,000 fine.
