CINCINNATI – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two escaped patients, who escaped from the Summit Behavioral Healthcare facility in Cincinnati this morning.
Patrol investigators said Russell Lee Bravard, 26, and Jonathan P. Kirkendall, 30, were patients at the Summit Behavioral Healthcare Center located at 1101 Summit Road in Cincinnati in Hamilton County.
Bravard, who is originally from Brown County, is a white male, 6’0”, weighing 170 pounds. He has brown hair, green eyes, and a goatee. He has tattoos on both arms, and, “Bravard,” tattooed across his chest. He was committed to the facility after being found not guilty by reason of insanity on aggravated robbery with gun specifications, felonious assault with gun specifications, receiving stolen property, failure to comply, and vehicular assault charges.
Kirkendall, who is from Athens County, is a white male, 5’11”, weighing 175 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and may have a mustache. He was committed to the facility after being found not guilty by reason of insanity on a felonious assault charge.
Bravard and Kirkendall were roommates at the facility, and were committed to the Summit Behavioral Healthcare facility to be returned to competency to stand trial for the above charges. They were noticed missing at 6:25 a.m. today during a head check. It is unknown what they were wearing at the time of their escape.
Due to their violent pasts, both escapees should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information regarding Bravard and/or Kirkendall should contact the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Hamilton Post at (513) 863-4606.
