CIRCLEVILLE – A Glouster woman appeared in Circleville Municipal Court yesterday after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrested her Saturday for attempting to convey drugs into the Pickaway Correctional Institution.

Troopers charged Linda Muenick, 57, of Glouster, with attempting to convey drugs, a third-degree felony.

Troopers obtained information that Muenick was working to convey drugs to her husband, an inmate at the Pickaway Correctional Institution. As she entered the facility, she was apprehended by troopers and arrested at 12:35 p.m. Saturday.

Muenick was incarcerated in the Pickaway County Jail. If convicted, she could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
