Patrol to remember fallen officers

 

What: Ohio State Highway Patrol Fallen Officers Memorial Ceremony

When: Friday, May 4, 2:00 p.m.

Family and friends of the Ohio State Highway Patrol

The Ohio State Highway Patrol will recognize and honor its 37 officers killed in the line of duty tomorrow. Family members of fallen officers will join former and current Patrol officers in observance.

In September 2006, the Patrol lost Sgt. Dale Holcomb and Tpr. Josh Risner of the Gallipolis Post in a traffic crash that also took the life of Gallia County resident, Lori Smith.
