Dayton woman arrested for illegal drug conveyance
LEBANON – The Ohio State Highway Patrol arrested a Dayton woman this morning for attempting to convey marijuana into the Lebanon Correctional Institution.

Troopers charged Latosha N. Gladden, 24, with illegal conveyance onto the grounds of a correctional facility, a third-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

Troopers and Department of Rehabilitation and Correction investigators obtained information that Gladden planned to convey illegal drugs into the Lebanon Correctional Institution. Troopers arrested Gladden at 10:00 a.m. today after discovering five packages, containing approximately 124 grams of marijuana, on her person.

Gladden was incarcerated at the Warren County Jail. She is scheduled to appear in the Lebanon Municipal Court on Thursday. If convicted, she could face up to five years and one month in prison and a $10,250 fine.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigates criminal activity on state owned and leased property.
