Patrol receives national honor as Best Dressed State Agency

The Ohio State Highway Patrol will receive the Grand National Winner award for the 2003 Best Dressed Police Competition, State category.

“The Patrol’s appearance sets the tone for our professionalism,” Colonel Paul McClellan, Patrol Superintendent, said. “Troopers are proud of their image and the uniform projects this image every day as we serve the citizens of Ohio.”

The Best Dressed Police Competition is sponsored by the National Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD), a non-profit trade group representing the uniform industry. Their members manufacture or sell fabric, uniforms, career apparel and accessories to many leading businesses worldwide.
