LEBANON – A Goshen woman will appear in the Lebanon Municipal Court this afternoon for attempting to convey marijuana into the Lebanon Correctional Institution after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrested her Saturday.
Troopers charged Lee Ann Warrick, 26, with conveying illegal narcotics onto the grounds of a correctional facility, a third-degree felony.
Troopers and Department of Rehabilitation and Correction investigators obtained information that Warrick planned to convey illegal drugs into the Lebanon Correctional Institution. Troopers arrested Warrick at 8:30 a.m. Saturday after finding three and one half grams of marijuana in balloons concealed in her clothing.
Warrick was incarcerated at the Warren County Jail. If convicted, she could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigates criminal activity on state owned and leased property.
